Ulysses Motorcycle - By MOTORCYCLE

THEY may have a few grey hairs, but the members of the Ulysses Motorcycle Club Macarthur branch are also showing they have hearts of gold as they get revved-up for their annual Christmas toy run in support of the Salvation Army.
More than 100 riders are expected to join in the 12th annual toy run on Sunday. The event will start at McDonald’s in Narellan at 11am before travelling to Camden and back along Menangle Rd to finish at Koshigaya Park, Campbelltown.
The club members, all motorcycle enthusiasts over 50, donate toys to the Salvos to bring some Christmas joy to underprivileged children in the Macarthur area.
“We do up the bikes and get our members to bring new, unused toys and gifts for children ranging from babies to teenagers,” Ulysses member Dot Lechner said. “It’s a lot of fun and it’s for kids in our community, so it’s a good cause. Residents are invited to check out the bikes which will be on show at Koshigaya Park between ?????? from 11.30am. The club is also holding a barbecue to raise money for the Salvation Army.
“We’d love everyone to come along and join in the fun, have something to eat and bring along a toy or gift if they can,” Mrs Lechner said.
